Today you have been selected to go to the Aperture Science Racing Facility. Now you might think: "What is the Aperture Science Racing Facility?" Good question!
In the early years of Aperture: Science Innovators, Cave Johnson’s scientists experimented with whatever they wanted. Not everything worked as it should have though, but that wasn't going to get in the way of the progress of Science!
One of the lost and forgotten experiments has recently been rediscovered: The Aperture Science Racing Facility. This facility was specifically built to test the teleportation of fast moving objects. Unfortunately, the static placement of Portals quickly limited the progress of Science and the focus shifted to the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device.
Today you, Test Subject 8663, have been selected to go back in time to the Aperture Science Racing Facility and discover the remnants of this abandoned laboratory.

FAQ:
Why do the walls look like grass and the ceiling like dirt?
The custom Mod hasn't loaded yet. The size of the mod is ~100 MB and is usually downloaded in the background. If you have the Custom Skidmarks mod enabled, please disable it by removing / renaming the ModWorks folder and restart your game. Make sure you have Download Mods enabled in the in-game settings. You can also try to play the map in Single Player modus via Play a Local Map. This will download all the assets in the foreground before the map is loaded.

Why can't I hear the Narrative Audio?
Unfortunately, the volume of Sound Effects in TrackMania is really low. Please slide the in-game volume to the max. The download size of all the Audio files is ~10 MB.
Why can't I see the custom Signs?
The custom Signs haven't loaded yet. The size of all the Signs is ~50 MB and is usually downloaded in the background. Make sure you have Download Signs enabled in the in-game settings.
The map is really laggy! How can I fix this?
You can improve the performance of the map by following
this Setup Guide. OpenPlanet and the Tweaker plugin are highly recommended to limit the render distance for much better FPS.
