Tips that I learned and are not obvious :


    - You can hide the categories or focus on a specific one.
    The categories always change when you mouse over or want to build only with flat road ?
    Press TAB to hide the categories and right click a folder to focus on it then use the arrows at the left to go back.



    - You can turn the blocks other than by right clicking.
    Want to make a decor that follow a diagonal line ?
    Select free block mode and press numpad + or -.



    - You can select any ensemble of block and save it as macroblock.
    A lot of sign with support to place ?
    Make a macroblock by selecting it with the copy/paste tool and save it with the save icon.
    You can also copy/paste/save mediatracker trigger. By example a start block with the gps/text trigger.



    - You can stop the sticky behavior.
    Too much deco/block in the way and it get stick everywhere ?
    Hold shift and be free.



    - ...

I wish there was a proper documentation in-game.
