Welcome to the MTC (Monthly Track Contest), the monthly map building competition hosted by TrackmaniaExchange!
This month the theme will challenge you to dive into some water and cool off from all that summer heat!

Theme: Summer Vibes!
- The car MUST be completely submerged in water at least 3 times during the track.
- The track MUST contain at least 2 turns performed with wet wheels.
- The track SHOULD be themed with “summer style” scenery.

Deadline & Submission: All tracks MUST be uploaded to this mappack and posted in this forum thread before the 25th of July.

Prize
- Honor and right to brag!
- The winning track will be featured on the front page and the first 3 will have a special showcase video!

Rules
- One entry is allowed per user. Multi-author maps count as the single entry for all authors involved.
- “MTC” must be present in the track name as it appears on TMX.
- All entries must be built using the latest version of the game.
- All entries must be built specifically for this MTC.
- Blockmixing, Offgrid mapping, and Embedded items are allowed.
- Texture mods are allowed.
- Press Forward, Left, Right, or similar tracks are NOT allowed
- Entries must be between 25 seconds and 2 minutes in length.
- Royal tracks are NOT allowed.

Judging System
All maps will be graded by a panel of expert judges who will be looking at the following criteria:

Theme: The judges will look at how creatively you implement the theme into the track.
Max. 20 pts/judge

Design/Route: Flow, smoothness, layout, speed, diversity, transitions, difficulty, etc. The general “feel” of the track.
Max. 10 pts/judge

Details/Polish: Signage, Scenery, MediaTracker. Does the track feel like it has all the finishing touches?
Max. 10 pts/judge

Fun Factor: Depending on how fun the judges find the track, some extra points can be given.
Max. 10 pts/judge

Can you use custom blocks? Also, do loops count as curves or turns? I made my map. I released it 5 days ago and still no one noticed?!??

Yes, the rules allow for custom blocks and items as long as they are embedded into the map.

Can you submit a RPG or Trial map aswell?

Yes ofc like always if its not precised in the "rules" its because its allowed, try to don't make a 25 min trial map please ^^

it has to be between 25sec-2min, so you need to keep it a bit mini for sure

ok i spend more than 50h for my contribution this month , and the track was nearly 50 % rdy.

a really big project for me and a lot hard work , and now nadeo update the game and my map was completely broken !

all the water elements i create dont work anymore , im sad , frustated and a bit angry

maybe nadeo patch the shit back and maybe fast enough befor the mtc is over , but if not im out.

no more maps in the future ... this is a brutal asskick for me
