Which mode do we set offline records in.  
I have the free version of the game but I do not know which mode to use. The race I want has 12 laps but the only mode I know to use is hot seat. What do I do and do I need to pay?

To play maps from the community you will need at least the 10e version. Then you can play it in local mode.
