Hey TMX!
Today I share with you my new map called Sombrero Escalero, a hard speedtech map with some transition based on the penalty dirt scenery blocks. I've always found these blocks fascinating and wanted to use them in a transitional fashion. Jorday helped with converting the blocks from penalty sand to usual dirt, to make the track viable for hunting instead of getting penalty because of good and smooth driving. The track also has a unique risky finish that I adore personally. With 15,2k display count the track is remarkable light and should not cause any FPS issues.
The scenery is based on the tropical and deserty regions of Mexico, and a mix of two amazing scenery style being "
wildlife" by Squikey and "
Forsaken" by BartSimpson. Both very unique styles I've found to be stunning and really original. The track is named after a good friend of mine, who's nickname is notoriously Sombrero Escalero for his love for hats and alcohol, and the escalating moments that we're caused by his passions.
Thanks to
