Wow! I build another map!
It overcame myself today, and now, after several hours, I present a "half-finished" map which, in theory, does not necessarily need any sort of updates (I hope, at least...).

I wanted to see whether I can build a competitive map akin to TMGL maps. There is even an "identity"!

While I definitely did not hit that target, I am still happy with the outcome, as I think this one has less of my "style" within it than my other maps. Yet, it definitely does not capture the feeling of a TMGL map. I believe there are multiple opportunities to "push it" in this map, meaning that hunting this hopefully would be fun (for the hypothetical map hunters which probably will never show up!).

My goal with this map was to focus on a "left curve, right curve" pattern, because I noticed that many of my other maps are essentially very long and extended left OR right curves, and loop back on themselves because of that. Interestingly, even though I kept strictly to that pattern, this looping-back-on-itself happens with this map as well. Something inside of me seems to want to tie maps together, instead of spreading them out over the whole stadium...

The "identity" in this map would be hated in actual TMGL: First of all, the identity part does not allow for risk-reward gambles (like for example TightRope does). I always believed those identities which can reward reckless driving are the best. Second, the identity itself is boring, and prolongs the map by several seconds without actually adding any fun gameplay to the map. In essence, it is a check how much speed you were able to gather before, but nothing else.

I rated this map as "Advanced" in difficulty. As I have no frame for reference, this essentially means that I think that if you are a beginner to TrackMania, this map will probably frustrate you.

If you are a Cam 2 player, you should probably think about binding a key to change to Cam 1 (and back), just because of the small but significant ice part I included here.

If you actually read this, please consider writing a comment to this map saying "I understand, brother." Thank you.
