Welcome to Los Carrera! This is a beta version of what will eventually be a fully fleshed Trackmania rpg with a story, side missions, and easter-eggs to find along the way as you explore the vast island of Los Carrera.

Recommended Settings
  • Shaders must be low or very low, due to higher settings drawing borders on platform blocks
  • Most other settings have no impact on performance in my experience, besides cpu/gpu synchronization (random based on computer)

    Map Details
  • 4km^2 Map, 150km+ of drivable road
  • Functional highway with interchanges and on/off ramps
  • Four distinct environments, including City, Hills, Desert, and Mountain.
  • Highly detailed areas to explore and drive through

    Why is this in beta?
    I would like for players to test out the roads, and find any bugs that I may have missed while building the island. I am also curious how well the map performs on other people's hardware. I personally have a high end pc, and average ~100 while driving, with the lowest dips reaching around 60fps. For reference, the map is 140k coppers in the editor.

    What is missing in this map?
  • Much of the map has yet to be decorated, this is a process that will take at least a month or two, with the level of detail I'd like to achieve. There are also no checkpoints at the moment, as the story and route of the map will be inserted after the map itself is completely finished.

    Planned Features
  • A radio station that will play as the map's music, using songs from all Trackmania games
  • A main story, and side missions with special effects
  • A campaign with different track layouts from the island, cropped out of the map, as to fit inside the 6mb limit for server use
  • Plenty of easter eggs to discover around the island

    At this point, Id estimate about 30% of the scenery is finished, buildings account for most of the details left to be completed.

    Unfortunately, the map file is far too large to be played on servers. I would like to reach out to Nadeo at some point, but I don't think much will come of it.
