🇬🇧 🇮🇪 BISC - British and Irish Sprint Cup 🇬🇧 🇮🇪
It's back, and hopefully better than ever! This time around the overall amount of tracks is less, and more time is allowed for map making, so people can put more focus into scenery or making more calculated routes. It's now proposed to have 5 steps of 5 maps each, so only 25 maps needed overall instead of 40.
Regarding map styles, this time around we're looking for more traditional map styles that will be easier to learn in the short amount of time. That means no LOL maps, and no mini-RPGs (although easy to learn elements of this can be incorporated.)
As there will hopefully be some better calculated routes and flowy lines I've upped the discovery time to 4 minutes instead of the original 2, however the total amount of round will be the same. As there's less tracks this time round the run time of each step should be roughly the same at 50-60 minutes.
As there are no LOL submissions allowed, instead I'm proposing to have an unconnected 6th week that is just LOL submissions or other janky maps, this is dependent on interest though.

Map Submission Rules
Casual/intermediate difficulty level, think COTD sort of level. Learnable in 4 minutes, then refining the lines during rounds.
Maps should be made specifically for this tournament, and not previously published on TMX.
Please include the prefix "BISC" before submitted map names.
30-60 second map length, can be shorter for LOL maps.
Don't go too mad on scenery, should be able to have stable FPS.
Must be signposted to aid quick discovery.
Please mark your maps as hidden on TMX, we don't want people practicing beforehand.
