I've been playing TM2020 since almost a year now. I've completed 2 campaigns with all ATs and then life happened so my TM gamplay has been very infrequent since then. The reason I'm writing here is because I couldn't find anything on this specific issue. I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious, but I'd really appreciate some help with this.
So, I created a Ubisoft Connect account last year, purchased TM2020 Club Access, set up my game and got playing. I never really considered setting up a TMX account or anything until recently. When I tried signing up last week or so, I chose to log in using my Ubisoft Connect (I thought this would link my game progress with the new MX account). But ever since I did this (10-11 months after creating my Ubisoft account and playing TM2020), I can log in to MX (website) but my account says Internal error in the "Linked Accounts" page; with an error ID that's essentially a lot of zeros. Also, the TMX menu in-game says "Profile not found" when I click on the Profile icon. I couldn't find anything in the settings either.
Should I delete my account, wait for 14 days and approach this differently? Or is there something I can do to fix this without deleting my account. I don't mind any solution because I literally have uploaded nothing yet. It's just that I can't see my game progress/achievements/(some random map WRs), etc., and I'd like to fix this asap before I start building maps and such. Would just like to organize / link my account properly, and ultimately understand how this works.
Appreciate any valuable insight on this, and I apologize if it's a super-noob question to some. Just trying to learn my way around the ecosystem. Thanks in advance
