GS BS - A BUGSLIDE TRIAL

Welcome to GS BS - A Bugslide Trial! If you're looking for BS, you came to the right place!

Late in 2023 I decided to start this project. I have never mapped trial or anything this big before, but I've loved bugslides ever since I first learned about them and thought it would be a lot of fun to make a trial map that showcased them.

I wanted the focus of this project to be fun for both the mappers and the players so the only guidelines we worked with were to make each checkpoint standalone / double respawnable, contain at least one bugslide, and aim for intermediate/advanced difficulty. What we ended up with was a collection of 19 really fun and challenging checkpoints of varying style and difficulty. There are also a number of fun easter eggs throughout the map that were suggested by some community members.

I can't thank my co-authors and community enough, because what started as a very big and very daunting solo project, quickly turned into an amazing collaboration with great mappers and great feedback and advice from the community. From start to finish, this has been an awesome experience for me!
