What is a Texture Mod?
A Texture Mod replaces the ingame Textures of Trackmania. It has to be embedded into the mapfile, and will be downloaded automatically by players when opening the map (unless they turn it off in the settings).

How was the Texture Mod created?
The Texture Mod was created entirely by myself over the course of roughly a year.
It includes most of the textures from Minecraft, which were mostly adjusted manually.
Accessing the original textures is quite simple—just unzip the Minecraft .jar file.

How is it structured?
There are core textures, which are essential for the itemset to function, and there are road texture changes, which are not required but make it easier to work with Trackmania platform blocks. The core textures remain unchanged across all mod versions, while only the road textures are changed.
With the interpolation method used for textures in Trackmania, the individual block textures had to be resized to 512x512 pixels to look good. A full texture is for example, 8192x8192 pixels in size, with 256 individual block textures.
It's not possible to completely avoid all texture bleeding, but we optimized the mipmaps as best as we could.

Note: Not every texture is perfectly space efficient, and you may find some empty spaces. This is because the Mod and Itemset were developed together, which means some mistakes can occur. At a certain point, it's not possible to change the Mod without altering significant parts of the Itemset. Thank you for your understanding!
