Mame's "Deception" Mapping Competition
Mame's "Deception" Mapping Competition is a mapping competition with a focus on attempting to trick the panel of judges with your map. For example, making a Blender map where the surface looks like dirt but it's actually ice, a map where the deco on the outside contains the real route and other ideas like that!

Rules
1) Maps must be built in TM2020. This is a TM2020 competition. Not much more needs to be said.

2) Route can be no longer than 60s when driven by the judges (Gold time must be less than 60s, not AT. The judges will be aiming for Gold at a minimum)

3) Any deco style is allowed including vanilla scenery, custom scenery and more. Any style of map is also allowed, including full speed, grass, dirt, LOL, RPG and more. As long as it fits the other 4 rules.

4) Maps must trick the judges in some way. This could be things like the route looks like dirt but is actually ice, the route looks normal but the real route uses scenery instead, there's a secret finish with a bunch of ring CPs so the main route is slower, the route could appear to be driven forwards but calculated to be driven backwards etc.

4.5) As an extension of this, the map doesn't require signage and arrows for any routes. If we see the arrows, we won't be tricked as much.

5) Maps must NOT include a GPS. However a replay file must be uploaded with the map (in case we can't solve it 😉)

6) Collaborations are allowed. But only 1 submission per mapper (e.g. Ealipse could submit a collab with Juice but Juice couldn't submit his own map)

Prize Pool
1st) $50 AUD
2nd) $25 AUD
3rd) $10 AUD

Community Choice gets $15 AUD

Entries close on the 15th of September, 12:00AM AEST. Entries can be submitted to https://forms.gle/jUcX5GAof1XX4ewMA. I also recommend joining in the chat about the competition by joining my mapping Discord (https://discord.gg/BjZtx38AqJ). Good luck to all the competitors and may the trickiest mapper win!
