I wonder how the track of the day is selected.
Does anybody know more about this topic than already is told?

What I know is that in the map review area the best rated tracks got a chance to get picked by nadeo.

But how the system works is still a maystery.

I got a fear that it is like this.

A track is played one time in the map review by 20 ppl and gets as example 20 5 Star votes.
Another tracked is played like 5 times by 100ppl and only got like 95 5 Star votes.
Which one is more likly to get picked?
Imo the second track is more consistent so it should have a higher chance.

But who knows

currently it is indeed Nadeo staff that picks the tracks of the day. I strongly assume it's based on the following:

• Rating from the map review feature
  
• personal preference of the testers
  
• a theme
  

So I'd say the second track will be more likely to be picked since the statistical significance (higher amount of people that rated the track) will push the map into the selection pool.

As far as I know, the system is supposed to be tuned and later completely automized in the future. Right now it's a manual process.

I ask because i got a track with 266 votes, yeah i played it alot
The rating stands at 4.3, which is pretty good i think, but i got a feeling it wont get picked because it is to hard.
