Black Animated Arrow Signs
Hi all,

Happy to finally share with you my black version of the animated arrow signs based on the ones by Nadeo.
These were already made more than 2 months ago, although the locators for transparent webm did not work, but has been fixed today!

Instructions are inside the ZIP file. Locators included, hosted by MX. Thank you   Ozon!

Woo, awesome!
Blocks are our friends <3

Really nice :)

Do you planned to make same thing on official ones from China? :)

They are transparent, so you should be able to put them on top of any regular sign, including the China ones.

EDIT: As of July 1, 2024, black arrows are now built in to TM2020. It's now possible to skip to step 3 of the following instructions.

Here are step-by-step instructions:

  • Extract the contents of the .zip file into Documents\Trackmania\Skins\Any (Trackmania may be Trackmania2020 on your PC).
  • In the "Any" folder, check that the Advertisement1x1, Advertisement1x2, and Advertisement1x4 sub-folders have Bottom_B, Left_B, Right_B, Top_B, and Off_W.tga files, along with similarly named files that end in .loc.
  • Open Trackmania.
  • Create a new track or edit an existing track.
  • If you don't already have any signs in your track, add a sign from the block folder 6-3-1-X, 6-3-2-X, or 6-3-3-X (X could be a folder number between 1 and 3) or the item folder Official-2-3-X.
  • Click the paint bucket icon on the bottom or press the F5 key to enter Skinning Mode.
  • Click on a sign in your track.
  • In the list that pops up, select "Off_W" (or any name for a lightly colored background) and then any name that starts with + and ends with _B (or for the built-in signs, starts with + Black and ends with a direction). (The names you want may be on different pages of the list.)
  • Click OK.

I hope that helps.
