I started wondering at one point last week what sort of track I could build within a 3x3 footprint (from above). Basically a 3x3 tower that fills the whole (default) build area vertically. I decided early on to avoid magnets, since that would make the building challenge a lot easier, and to use a lot of different-height quarterpipe transfers to go back and forth within the vertical space, rather than just stacking the same bits on top of each other.

It came out quite fun, IMO, and will force you to keep those transfers as low as possible for the best time. I suspect something down close to 1.00 is possible (maybe even sub 1.00?), but I'm on vacation and lazy, so left it at 1:03.xx.

Maybe I'll try a 2x2 some day and use magnets?

As always, any feedback is appreciated, and replays are especially cool! :)

Special thanks to stupskiesel.nc and eyebo for the custom items! The track is better than it would have been without your contributions!

Edit: Apologies to prince10bee and Ta Da--I couldn't let that SC stay--it just shaved off too much time. Map has been updated. The new AT is sorta crap, but I wanted to get the track switched out before potentially killing more replays.

Edit2: I lied. Ta Da found another SC and I found a couple more nearby. Fixed. Hopefully for the last time. :)
