Hello TrackmaniaExchange



Thank you for taking a look at my Fullspeed Map Death is constant.
The Name is taken from an poem, that is usually performed in addition to music and is written by Cameron Smith, also known as 'Hotel Books'.
I recently fell in love with his poetic viewpoint of music and kind of lost myself into it.
Being able to draw inspiration out of this poetic music i managed to finish this map relatively fast.
That is the reason i decided to include a part of a poem inside the track as a small easteregg.



The mood i tried to set Death is constant in is intended to feel a bit dull and zoned out, but not too focused on that aspect so it still is derivable. To intensify the fact that Death really is constant i included some pretty hard transitions and tight speedslides. Despite beeing focused on the track itself, the Scenery still is quite heavy with a displaycost of around 44.000.



Most of the mapping was streamed on the Waypoint Discord and i want to thank everybody who did watch the stream for keeping me company.
A special thanks goes out to   Navi.wp and   BLUTIG for making me realize how bad i actually am at driving and making me want to make to rebuild the map.


PS: Despite the fact that i was able to compute the shadows on high quality i think the shadows were not calculated correctly resulting in some color differences in a lot of blocks. I do not know if this was the result of my bad GPU or the game itself, but if i find a way to compute the shadows the right way i will update the mapfile.
