soulful

TrackmaniaExchange, today I present you "soulful", a technical 3rd gear ice map.

The main goal was to make the map consistent for an ice map, so you can focus on improving their time and not just surviving a run, even as a beginner. Still, there is a lot of room to push and risk.

There's nothing wrong with eating a bit of snow (as long as it's not yellow ) as you can see in the gps. Here you have the choice between going for a tighter line over the snow or avoiding it and keeping more speed.

The route features a couple of plastic flicks, a feature I always liked on Scarzor's maps. Imo it makes the track more interesting on a first run as well as for hunting.

The at should be quite challenging but for better ice players, a low 44 or high 43 is doable I'm sure .

As for scenery, I went for an abstract blend of vanilla and custom with a contrast of density and space. Letting the sky shine through to give the map a sense of freedom and vastness while still being quite compact. As day turns into night, there's a feeling of coziness, nostalgia and longing all at the same time. I think the scenery has a very unique vibe and I'm proud of how it all turned out.
