CCP#12 - Old meets new

It has been a while since I've done a map like this on my own, and its the reason why I didn't get the Dec. 1st spot in this years Christmas Calendar Project - I wanted to go back to my roots and build some proper transitional fullspeed, which wouldn't fit the TOTD spot that usually was on the 1st. (This was later moved to the 2nd for this year, making the point irrelevant, but that wasn't known at the start of the building process.) Instead I took the next best date, releasing the map on my birthday, so here we are!

This map is a classic-styled transitional fullspeeder with lots of my favorite sculpture transitions from back in the days, mixed with some new blocks and possibilities that only TM2020 brings, hence the map name. It might not be the most insane and/or creative transitional map that you may be used to these days, but I think the end result is a fun map that feels like the TMNF/TM2 days, but also still feels fresh and interesting.

The scenery is heavily inspired by my TMOne Alpine map from 2019, "Surrealism". Its one of the first things that I thought about wanting to do, when I saw the snow blocks were being added to the game.

Note: I'm well aware that some respawns are pretty bad. Its not something that I wanted to think about when building a map like this, but rather fitting in the CPs where they fit and looked the best, and the actual function being an afterthought.
