Theme: One Shot!
The theme of this mapping competition is to build a map to be a nice challenge to beat without respawning, aka one shot. Maps should strive to be smooth, well calculated, creative, and fun to one shot. It is ok if your map is not super huntable for a fast time after getting a one shot, as the main gameplay draw here is the challenge of getting a clean run. Your map should be difficult, but it does not need to be long. Edit: If you think submissions can't have checkpoints you have misunderstood the point.
As usual the theme is not a hard ruleset and maps will be judged on how they implement the theme.
Note: submit as many maps as you want, the more the better!

Info:
Deadline for submissions is the September 23.
Tm2020 only
Winning maps will be made into a video (top3 + any others I think are cool.)
Maps mostly judged on route quality, scenery less so. Intros, replay sequences, etc are ignored in judging.
Judging is based on my own opinion on how good the maps are. If possible I will stream judging with someone else for another perspective and a fun livestream.
Please do not submit old/already released maps or alterations of already released maps.
Submit your maps by uploading them to this mappack.

Things people might ask about:
Custom map bases are allowed unless otherwise noted.
Authors - Solo and collab maps allowed unless otherwise noted.
You can put media tracker and an intro on your map, but intros will not be judged (neither will replay sequences, etc.) Media tracker in the form of camera changes do matter, and things such as fog that affect scenery will fall under the umbrella of scenery.
If you add a gps I will watch it.
If you add a texture mod to your map I will not be loading and seeing it.
Any time of day is allowed. If your map is dark and I can't see anything it will be judged accordingly.
There is no naming format, name your map whatever you want. If you want an abbreviation, use SMC.
Thnx for the thumbnail image for the mappack whiskey alexander
