REQUIREMENTS

Intro (doesn't have to be fancy)

No cuts/retroutes/wallbangs
No tarmac drifts

GUIDELINES

Intermediate/advanced difficulty
- A variety is needed but maps should favour the use of advanced mechanics.

Features
- Maps should be ice slide focused. Advanced mechanics or features from other styles that gain/lose large amounts are not appreciated. These should not be confused with mechanics that use other surfaces combined with ice, such as dirt zoops/snaps, straigtening from ice to tarmac, etc. These are considered ice mechanics.

Advanced Features
- Quality over quantity applies. If a simple map lacks complex features but has advanced lines, it can also be very valuable.

Consistency
- Should be a primary focus for rounds play. Strongly related to the previous point as features that would often cause frustration should be avoided (missing CPs, transitions, reactors, etc.).

Performance
- Though there is no quantifiable limit to scenery, the performance of the map should always take priority over scenery.

Exceptions
- Can always be made if a maps quality/viability is high enough to justify it.

RULES

Mappers are allowed to participate in all parts of the competition.
All maps should be unreleased and not publicly shared.
Streaming the creation of the map is allowed.
The map can be shared to a couple of people (1-3) for testing purposes, but no open lobbies or sharing.
There is no limit to the amount of maps a user can submit.
