I'm glad to present to you my biggest project on TM : Ancient Ruins. An RPG map inspired by this amazing artwork : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/q9O36P




It's been mainly created to be a pathfinding map; every CP is not necessarily where you would expect them to be. You might have to look around a bit to find them, but you can't cut to a wrong CP, so numbers are not needed. I tried to make the map also huntable. (Map update for hunt 19.12)

You might find a sidequest on your road to the treasure room. It's not mandatory to finish the map. However, if you want some more difficulty, you can try to complete it, maybe on your second run. ;) It can easily take you multiple runs to complete it 100%. (no reward)

I've probably put more than 100 hours on this map. From creating the route, scenery.. creating new blocks, modifying/texturing some existing one.. adding new challenges. changing and perfecting the route again and again, trying to reduce the number of shadow bugs. I'm learning a lot with every new map I make.

I started the map without a mod and ended up re-texturing everything. The mod should download automatically when you launch the map (try pressing escape in-game if the mod didn't load yet), but in case you need it : Crime Mod (version for the map).

Map update : 19.12.2020 - Changed two ramps to make it more consistant.
